Charging a battery may seem daunting, but it's actually a straightforward process.
To charge your Stinger SG-5E golf buggy, follow these steps:
- Turn off the buggy and unplug the battery from the buggy.
- Remove the battery from its housing by carefully lifting it out.
- Connect the battery to the battery charger before connecting it to the power point.
- Connect the charger to the power point and turn on the mains power. The charging indicator light should turn red.
- Leave the battery to charge until the charging indicator light turns green, which indicates that the battery is fully charged.
- Turn off the mains power and then disconnect the battery from the charger. Always follow this sequence.
- Carefully place the battery back into the buggy’s battery housing.
- Always remember to recharge your battery after each use and avoid letting it run flat.
It is important to remember to only use the authorised Lithium Battery Charger supplied with your lithium battery and to never use a charger designed for lead acid batteries. Additionally, charge your lithium battery on a dry, non-carpeted area at temperatures between 10°C to 30°C to avoid any damage.
